Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and [legal entity name] (“Vatic”, “we”). By creating an account or using Vatic you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Vatic.
1. Who can use Vatic
- You must be 18 or over. You confirm this when you sign up.
- You are responsible for making sure that using prediction markets is legal where you live. Where trading is not allowed,Vatic shows a note instead of a link to trade.
- One account per person. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account, and should tell us straight away if someone else uses it.
2. What Vatic is, and is not
- Vatic is a social app for prediction markets. It shows market data from Polymarket, traders' verified records, leaderboards, the calls people make and the people you follow.
- Vatic is not a broker, exchange, bookmaker or financial adviser. Nothing on Vatic is financial, investment, legal, tax or betting advice, or a recommendation to trade.
- We never hold your money, never place bets and never place trades. A button to trade on Polymarket is a link: you trade on your own Polymarket account, under Polymarket's terms.
- Trading involves risk. You can lose what you put in. Past results, yours or anyone else's, do not predict future results.
- Tic is an AI. His research can be wrong and is not advice. He is not live yet: until his new way of working is approved he publishes nothing and shows as “watching”.
3. Calls
A call is your quick Yes or No on a question, and how sure you are, made before you see what others think. No money moves and there are no points. A call cannot be changed once made, and cannot be made after a question locks (for example when a match starts). Your record shows how many of your settled calls were right.
4. Following, profiles and what you post
- Following is free. People you follow appear in your feed; what they share follows their own privacy choices.
- You choose whether your profile is public. A public profile shows your username, picture and record.
- You keep ownership of what you post or upload, and give us permission to store and show it on Vatic. It must follow our rules and the image guidelines: no promises of profit, no pressure to trade, nothing aimed at under-18s.
- Anyone can report a post or picture. After several reports it is hidden until a person reviews it; we may remove it.
5. Linking a Polymarket wallet
- Linking is read-only: you give us a public wallet address and sign a message that proves you control it. We never ask for private keys, seed phrases or passwords and cannot move funds.
- We read your trades and positions from Polymarket's public data to build your verified record. You can make a wallet private or unlink it at any time; unlinking removes its synced trades from Vatic.
- Leaderboards use rules we publish (for example a minimum number of closed trades) and leave out records we cannot verify or believe are being manipulated.
6. Paid plans
- If we offer a paid plan, its price and what it includes are shown before you pay. Payments are charged by Stripe, in advance, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time. You keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not give partial refunds. [Solicitor to check UK consumer cancellation rights, including the 14-day cooling-off period for digital services.]
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and you keep access while it does; if it still fails, the plan ends.
7. Invites
- Someone who joins through your invite link and subscribes gets 20% off their first billing period. Invites must be used within 7 days of creating the account, before subscribing, and each person can use only one invite, ever.
- When their first payment has cleared for 14 days and has not been refunded or disputed, you get account credit, applied to your next Vatic bill. Credit is not cash and cannot be withdrawn.
- At most 5 rewarded invites a month. Inviting yourself earns nothing. If a payment is refunded or disputed after you were rewarded, the credit is taken back. Do not promise anyone profits when sharing your link.
- We may change or end the invite scheme; rewards already earned will be honoured.
8. Acceptable use
Do not break the law; abuse, harass or impersonate others; try to get around limits, payments or security; reverse engineer, scrape, copy or redistribute Vatic without permission; interfere with how it runs; share your account; or use it to promise profits or to target people under 18.
9. Our content and third-party data
Vatic's software, design and content belong to us and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws; you may not copy, change or distribute them without our written permission. Market data comes from third parties such as Polymarket and may be delayed or wrong; we are not responsible for their data or their platforms.
10. No warranty, and liability
We provide Vatic “as is” and “as available”, without promising it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, for decisions you make using Vatic, or for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. [Solicitor to review.]
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable losses, including legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of Vatic. [Solicitor to review.]
12. Suspension and ending
You can delete your account at any time in Settings (cancel a renewing plan first). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
13. Changes, and the rest
We may update these terms and will tell account holders about important changes; using Vatic after a change means you accept it. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about Vatic. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
